Hello!
My name is Dabney, and I am a performer based out of Southern California and Washington DC. I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre with a double minor in music and dance from Western Carolina University. I currently work at Olney Theatre Center as their Education & Community Engagement apprentice.
Meet me!
I was born and raised in Riverside, California. I grew up playing violin, dancing, and singing nonstop! I knew from a young age I wanted to become an actor. At seventeen, I left my home city to further my study of theatre in a tiny mountain town in North Carolina. I finished by BFA in Musical Theatre in 2023. I love change & adventure. I cannot wait to see what the future holds.
Theatre is my home.
I want to help audiences escape from their day to day lives for a few hours. I want to create social change and awareness through performance and storytelling. I want to feel the adrenaline rush of entering the stage and having the stage lights blind me. I want to play pretend and dress up as different people. I want to help tell stories that need to be told. I want to make people laugh.
